The latest generation Porsche 911 GT3 RS has turned heads in Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in the iconic Guards Red finish. This is the third GT3 RS to hit Vietnamese roads and the first to be officially registered in early 2026.

What makes the 2022 GT3 RS special?
Born from Porsche’s race‑proven 911 GT3 R and 911 RSR heritage, the new GT3 RS blends aggressive aerodynamics with a track‑ready chassis. The front luggage compartment is replaced by a sophisticated cooling system borrowed from Porsche’s endurance racers.

Performance at a glance

Exclusive options and pricing
The Vietnamese example comes standard with lightweight multi‑spoke alloy wheels—20 inches up front and 21 inches at the rear—and a choice of body colours. While Pyro Red, Satin Black and Indigo Blue add roughly VND 40 million each, the chosen Guards Red is the brand’s classic hue.

Optional upgrades such as the Weissach Package, which includes extensive carbon‑fiber exterior trim and front/rear roll‑center balancers, are priced near VND 2.7 billion and were not fitted to this unit.

Base price in Vietnam starts at VND 17.69 billion (about US$750,000). Fully loaded, the figure can exceed VND 20 billion.

How many GT3 RS models are in Vietnam?
According to Znews research, by the end of January 2026 at least four 992.1‑series GT3 RS cars have been imported: one in black, two in white, and the Guards Red example highlighted here.

From the racetrack to the city streets
Before its local debut, the GT3 RS made a splash in the 2024 Gumball 3000 supercar rally, showcasing the model’s blend of road legality and racing pedigree. Its Nürburgring lap time of 6:44.848 minutes made it the third fastest production car on the famed circuit at the time.

Inside, drivers find carbon‑fiber bucket seats as standard, with an optional 18‑position Adaptive Sports seat for added comfort. The steering wheel features integrated rotary switches for drive mode, electronic balance, and traction‑control adjustments, giving the driver full command of the car’s dynamic settings.

With its striking looks, race‑derived technology, and a price tag that reflects true exclusivity, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is quickly becoming Vietnam’s most coveted high‑performance supercar.
