Chinese‑born businessman Trần Chí, also known as Chen Zhi, was recently extradited from Cambodia to mainland China to face a string of serious charges, including fraud, money‑laundering, kidnapping and human‑trafficking.

During a forensic search of his Taipei‑area residence, investigators uncovered more than 26 high‑performance hypercars whose combined market value runs into the tens of millions of dollars.

Ferrari Monza SP2 – French Racing Blue / Bianco King
The rare “Icona” Ferrari Monza SP2 is painted in a one‑off French Racing Blue‑Bianco King scheme. Powered by a naturally‑aspirated 6.5 L V12 that delivers 810 hp, the car normally retails for US$3‑4.5 million in standard colours. The bespoke paint job pushes its price several times higher.

Bugatti Chiron Sport “110 Ans Bugatti”
Inside the garage, officers found a limited‑edition Bugatti Chiron Sport commemorating the brand’s 110th anniversary. Only 20 units were produced worldwide. It houses an 8.0 L W16 quad‑turbo engine that cranks out a staggering 1,500 hp. Market estimates place this masterpiece at around US$5.5 million.

Ferrari LaFerrari
Parked in the same compound in Taiwan, a Ferrari LaFerrari was seized. The hybrid hyper‑car blends a 6.3 L V12 with a KERS hyper‑hybrid system for a combined output of roughly 950 hp. Its estimated value ranges between US$4‑5 million.

McLaren P1
Next to the LaFerrari sat a McLaren P1, featuring a 3.8 L twin‑turbo V8 paired with an electric motor for a total of 903 hp. This plug‑in hybrid commands a price of about US$1.8‑2.5 million.

Porsche 918 Spyder
The collection also includes a Porsche 918 Spyder, powered by a 4.6 L V8 combined with two electric motors to produce 887 hp. Valued at roughly US$1.6‑2.2 million, the 918 remains one of Porsche’s most coveted hybrids.

Bugatti Baby II
Among the more whimsical finds was a Bugatti Baby II – a miniature electric car designed for children. Even at its tiny scale, the model carries a price tag of US$40,000‑80,000 and is marketed as a collectible.

Vespa 946 Christian Dior
Rounding out the haul, investigators discovered a limited‑edition Vespa 946 in collaboration with Christian Dior. When it launched, the designer scooter was priced at around US$80,000.

All together, the seized vehicles represent a dazzling display of wealth built on alleged criminal activity. Authorities are now working to liquidate the assets as part of the broader case against Trần Chí.
