Lynk & Co 03 – A Fresh Sedan with Turbo Power

Dealers have already started taking deposits for the Lynk & Co 03 sedan. The model will be offered in a high‑performance “03+” trim, priced around VND 1.9 trillion (~$82,000). It features a 1.5 L turbo‑charged engine delivering 178 hp and 290 Nm of torque, paired with front‑wheel drive. The standard 03 version drops the large diffuser and dual exhaust for a more understated look while keeping Lynk’s signature front and rear styling.

Hyundai Stargazer Facelift – Modern MPV for Families

Hyundai’s revamped Stargazer, already spotted in Indonesia as the “Carten” version, is set to debut in Vietnam by mid‑2025. The facelift brings a sharper front grille, slimmer headlights and updated rear lights, giving the MPV a more premium feel. Inside, the cabin adopts Hyundai’s latest design language seen on the Creta, Tucson and Santa Fe.

The powertrain remains unchanged: a 1.5 L Smartstream gasoline engine producing 113 hp and 144 Nm, mated to a front‑wheel‑drive layout with an iVT seamless‑shift automatic gearbox. Pricing is expected to start around VND 480 million, roughly VND 9 million less than the current model.

Lotus Eletre – Luxury Electric SUV Making Waves

British‑owned Lotus is gearing up for a Vietnamese entry, with the Eletre electric SUV leading the charge. Dubbed by European media as the “Lamborghini Urus EV,” the Eletre blends exotic looks with high performance.

  • Standard model: 603 hp, 710 Nm torque
  • Eletre R (top spec): 905 hp, 985 Nm torque, 0‑100 km/h in 2.95 seconds
  • Price: Approximately $229,900 USD

The Eletre will sit against premium EVs such as the BMW iX, Porsche Macan EV and Audi Q6 e‑tron. While Lotus is unlikely to chase volume sales, its presence will enrich Geely’s product portfolio in Vietnam.

Zeekr 7X & 009 – Chinese Premium EVs Eye the Vietnamese Market

Geely’s upscale brand Zeekr is set to become the first Chinese luxury‑electric marque in Vietnam. Two models are in the pipeline:

  • Zeekr 7X – A family‑focused MPV with a neutral design, positioned as the brand’s flagship for larger households.
  • Zeekr 009 – A flagship concept‑style vehicle aimed at niche buyers, similar to GAC’s M8 Pro and BYD’s Denza D9.

Both models will carry premium pricing, reflecting Zeekr’s placement above Lynk & Co. While domestic EVs dominate the market, Zeekr’s sophisticated branding and technology could carve out a niche among affluent Vietnamese consumers, especially as European luxury makers reassess their electric strategies.

Stay tuned for official launch dates and pricing details as these exciting models roll out across Vietnam’s showrooms later this year.
