Zeekr has just announced a modest price adjustment for its flagship electric SUV, the 7X, in the Malaysian market. The new list prices, released in August 2025, represent a 1.6‑1.8% rise compared with the original launch figures.
Updated Malaysian Pricing
• Standard (RWD): RM 182,800 – roughly VND 1.20 billion.
• Long‑Range (RWD): RM 193,800 – about VND 1.27 billion.
• Performance (AWD): RM 230,800 – approximately VND 1.50 billion.
The Standard and Long‑Range trims each added RM 3,000 (≈ VND 20 million), while the top‑end Performance model jumped RM 8,000 (≈ VND 52 million).
Powertrain, Battery & Driving Range
The two rear‑wheel‑drive versions share a single electric motor mounted at the rear, delivering 415 hp and 440 Nm of torque and sprinting from 0‑100 km/h in 6 seconds.
- Standard: 75 kWh LFP battery, WLTP‑rated range ~480 km per charge.
- Long‑Range: 100 kWh NMC battery, WLTP‑rated range ~615 km per charge.
The performance‑focused AWD model packs two motors (front and rear) for a combined 637 hp and 710 Nm, hitting 0‑100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. It uses the same 100 kWh battery as the Long‑Range RWD, but its range drops to roughly 543 km due to the higher output.
Charging Capabilities
All three trims support up to 22 kW AC charging. The Standard version can charge from 10 % to 100 % in about 4.5 hours, while the Long‑Range and Performance models need around 5.5 hours.
On the DC side, the Standard boasts a 450 kW fast‑charging capability, filling the pack from 10 % to 80 % in just 10.5 minutes. The Long‑Range and Performance versions accept a maximum of 420 kW, requiring roughly 16 minutes for a full charge. All variants also feature Vehicle‑to‑Load (V2L) output up to 3.3 kW.
Safety Suite & Driver Assistance
Zeekr equips the 7X with a comprehensive safety package across every trim, including:
- Seven airbags and adaptive cruise control.
- Lane‑keeping assist, lane‑change assist and automatic emergency braking (AEB) with forward‑collision mitigation.
- Rear‑cross‑traffic warning, blind‑spot monitoring and rear‑collision mitigation.
- Parking‑assist, 360‑degree camera with transparent chassis view, and a guard mode.
- Door‑open alerts, driver‑monitoring system and other active safety features.
Vietnam Arrival – What’s the Timeline?
In Vietnam, Zeekr will be represented by Tasco Auto. The importer has outlined a phased rollout, starting with two models in the first wave. The 7X is slated to hit Vietnamese showrooms in the second quarter of 2026.
Prospective buyers can expect the Malaysian price‑adjusted figures to serve as a reference point, though local taxes, duties and incentives will ultimately shape the final retail price.
What This Means for Buyers
The modest price hike aligns with global supply‑chain pressures while preserving the 7X’s competitive edge in the fast‑growing electric‑SUV segment. With robust performance, long range, and a strong safety suite, the model is positioned to challenge established players once it arrives in Vietnam.
Stay tuned for official pricing from Tasco Auto and the first test‑drive events scheduled for mid‑2026.
