Design Inspired by Vision Neue Klasse
The all‑new BMW i3 (code NA0) draws its styling from the 2023 Vision Neue Klasse concept. BMW’s signature sporty language is expressed through a striking “2.5‑box” silhouette and a bold four‑eye front face where the grille and headlights merge into a single luminous strip.

Exterior Highlights
The i3 is offered in 11 exterior finishes, ranging from classic solid paints to metallic and matte options. A standout exclusive shade, M Le Castellet Blue, emphasizes the model’s premium positioning.

With overall dimensions of 4,760 mm long × 1,865 mm wide × 1,480 mm high and a 2,897 mm wheelbase, the i3 is noticeably roomier than the internal‑combustion BMW 3 Series (G20). The 21‑inch M 1067 Aerodynamic wheels are engineered for low drag while adding a sporty stance.

At the rear, a horizontal LED light bar with a 3‑D effect, muscular side‑cut lines, and an active diffuser create a dynamic and confident look.

Interior & Cabin Experience
The cabin centers around BMW’s new Panoramic iDrive system, featuring a cockpit‑spanning display that blends digital sophistication with intuitive controls. Ambient lighting runs through a multi‑color interior light strip, customizable via the My Modes setting.

BMW introduces a fresh “Shy Tech” steering wheel that hides touch‑sensitive controls while delivering tactile feedback, allowing drivers to keep focus on the road.

Three interior colour packages are available: Essential, Contemporary, and BMW M Design World, plus an extensive range of unique trims through BMW Individual and M Sport options.

The rear seats fold in a 40:20:40 ratio, providing flexible cargo space. While the front luggage compartment under the hood offers about 31 L (primarily for the charging cable), rear‑boot capacity has not yet been disclosed.

Powertrain & Performance
The i3 50 xDrive is powered by two electric motors delivering a combined 469 hp and 645 Nm of torque. A high‑performance “Heart of Joy” computer orchestrates the powertrain, processing data ten times faster than previous generations for razor‑sharp response.

Fast charging is a key highlight: a 400 kW DC charger can add roughly 400 km of range in just 10 minutes, while the total electric range can reach up to 900 km on a single charge.

Technology & Connectivity
Beyond the iDrive cockpit, the i3 integrates BMW’s latest eDrive generation (6th) and a suite of driver‑assist features, all designed to make the electric driving experience seamless and engaging.

Production & Availability
Manufacturing of the i3 will commence at the BMW Group Munich plant in Germany starting August 2026. The first units are slated for delivery in Q3 2026. Pricing details have not yet been announced.
