Chery Automobile is experiencing a surge in international demand, exporting a remarkable one vehicle every 23 seconds in 2025. This impressive rate solidifies the company’s position as China’s leading exporter of passenger vehicles for an astounding 23 consecutive years.
Record-Breaking Export Numbers
In 2025, Chery exported 1,344,020 vehicles out of a total of 2,806,393 units sold, representing a significant 17.4% increase compared to 2024. To date, Chery has shipped a cumulative total of 5.85 million vehicles globally, with monthly exports exceeding 140,000 units for the first time this year.
Strong Domestic Sales Fuel Growth
Chery also maintains a strong domestic presence, selling 1,700,940 vehicles annually. Several models are consistently top performers in their respective segments.

- Arrizo 8: Maintained monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units for 16 consecutive months, with cumulative sales surpassing 450,000 units in just 38 months since its launch.

Exeed: Luxury and Innovation
The premium Exeed brand recorded sales of 120,369 vehicles. The Yaoguang C-DM, a key model in Exeed’s global new energy strategy, is available in over 19 countries and regions. It ranks among the top three best-selling vehicles in its segment in European markets like Spain and Italy.
Jetour: Adventure and Versatility
The Jetour brand achieved sales of 622,590 vehicles. The Jetour X70 has surpassed one million units in cumulative sales over 7 years, while the Jetour Traveler has exceeded 400,000 units in global cumulative sales.
iCar/Jaecoo: Emerging Markets
The iCar brand (known as iCar in China) sold 96,989 vehicles. Its models are exported under the iCaur or Jaecoo brands, initially targeting markets like Thailand, Malaysia, and Russia. For example, the iCar 03 is sold internationally as the Jaecoo 6.
Luxeed: Collaboration with Huawei
Luxeed, a brand jointly developed with Huawei, sold 90,493 vehicles. Following the launch of upgraded Luxeed R7 and S7 models, the brand achieved monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units for three consecutive months (October-December).
