Explore Hyundai’s new Pokemon-themed digital dashboard, featuring Pikachu and Ditto skins for a playful Pokedex experience. Personalize your ride today!

Hyundai is turning the driver’s seat into a nostalgic playground by teaming up with Pokemon Korea to debut two exclusive digital‑dashboard themes: Pikachu Quick Attack and Ditto World. The skins replace the standard 12.3‑inch instrument cluster and infotainment display with vibrant, animated interfaces that feel like a real‑life Pokédex.

What the Themes Offer
Both themes go beyond a simple wallpaper change. Every element of the 12.3‑inch cluster – speedometer, navigation menu, media controls and user‑profile icons – is redesigned with Pokemon graphics. The Pikachu theme puts the electric mouse front and centre, adding sparky transition effects and a cheerful welcome animation whenever the car powers on or off. Ditto takes a softer approach with a purple palette, smooth motion effects, and a rotating cast of familiar faces such as Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Snorlax, Meowth and Spheal.

How to Activate the Themes
The skins require Hyundai’s latest connected‑car platform, the ccNC (connected car Navigation Cockpit). Currently compatible models include the Staria, Sonata, Palisade, Nexo, Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 9, with Hyundai promising to roll the feature out to additional line‑ups later this year.

Pricing and Availability
In South Korea, drivers can purchase each theme for a one‑time fee of 29,900 won (about US $21) via the BlueLink Store or the BlueLink mobile app. Once bought, the theme is permanently linked to the owner’s BlueLink account and can be toggled on or off from the vehicle settings at any time.

Why Pokemon?
Pokemon is one of the world’s most powerful entertainment franchises, spanning video games, anime, trading cards and movies for nearly three decades. By tapping into this massive fan base, Hyundai not only adds a fresh layer of personalization but also opens the door to future limited‑edition skins, collectible content and other high‑engagement experiences that resonate with drivers of all ages.

For now, the Pokemon themes are exclusive to the Korean market, with no official word on a North American or European launch. If licensing agreements expand, a global rollout could be on the horizon.
