Italian automaker Ferrari has unveiled the HC25, a bespoke hyper‑car built for a single client. Based on the discontinued F8 Spider chassis, the HC25 blends the classic mid‑engine layout with a radical, future‑focused design language.
Design philosophy
The HC25’s silhouette marks a new chapter in Ferrari’s styling. A striking black strip runs horizontally across the body, starting at the engine cover and slicing the car in two, emphasizing the rear diffuser and splitter. An aluminum bar protrudes from the side air intake, serving as a door‑handle.
Exterior highlights
- Length: 4,816 mm (147 mm longer than the F8)
- Width: 2,056 mm (27 mm wider)
- Height: 1,207 mm (23 mm lower)
- Moon‑gray paint with glossy black accents and yellow‑tinted logos and brake calipers
- Custom 20‑inch five‑spoke wheels finished with a diamond‑cut surface
- LED front fascia reminiscent of the SF90, extending into a boomerang‑shaped light strip along the bumper
- Sleek LED taillights integrated into the rear vents, paired with a large diffuser and twin exhausts
Interior
The cabin carries over the driver‑focused feel of the F8, featuring sport seats upholstered in premium leather with yellow stitching that adds a subtle pop of colour.
Powertrain
Under the hood sits a 3.9‑litre twin‑turbo V8 delivering 710 hp at 8,000 rpm and 770 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven‑speed dual‑clutch gearbox. The HC25 is a pure V8 machine – it does not employ Ferrari’s mild‑hybrid system.
Performance figures are impressive: 0‑100 km/h (0‑62 mph) in 2.9 seconds, 0‑200 km/h in 8.2 seconds, and a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).
Exclusivity
Ferrari has not disclosed the price of the HC25. It follows two previous one‑off builds on the F8 platform – the SP49 Unica (2022) and the SP‑8 Roadster (2023).
