When a Waiver Is Needed
During the clean‑up runs, the engine speed is displayed on the dashboard gauge. If the RPM never breaches the red‑zone (the “N max” limit), the driver is not asked to sign any document. However, if the gauge crosses into the red‑zone on the first run, the inspector will ask the owner whether they wish to continue. Should the owner agree, a waiver form is handed over for optional signing – it is never mandatory.
