At the Singapore Motor Show 2026, Honda rolled out the Super‑One EV, marking the brand’s first foray into selling a compact city electric car in the city‑state.

Design and Dimensions

The production version retains the concept’s sleek silhouette, featuring round headlights, rectangular tail lights and widened wheel arches that underscore its sporty intent. Its overall size—3,589 mm long, 1,573 mm wide and 1,616 mm high with a 2,520 mm wheelbase—puts it on par with the Kia Morning.

Powertrain and Range

Under the hood sits a 94 hp (70 kW) electric motor delivering 162 Nm of torque. The Super‑One is equipped with a 29.6 kWh lithium‑ion battery, the same capacity as Honda’s N‑One e:, and supports fast charging from 20 % to 80 % in roughly 30 minutes. Because of the higher output, the WLTP‑certified range is expected to be slightly under 295 km.

Driving Dynamics

A standout feature is a simulated seven‑speed gearbox paired with a “Boost Mode” that temporarily cranks up power for a more exhilarating drive. Honda also installed Active Sound Control, which generates artificial engine and gear‑shift noises to give drivers a familiar auditory cue—an approach seen on recent Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 6 N models.

Interior and Technology

The cabin offers a well‑rounded tech suite: a 9‑inch infotainment screen, an eight‑speaker Bose audio system, and the Honda Sensing driver‑assist package, which includes Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist and a blind‑spot camera.

Chassis and Braking

To keep the car nimble for city streets, Honda fitted a MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion‑beam rear axle, complemented by rear drum brakes.

Pricing

In Singapore, the Honda Super‑One EV is priced at SGD 178,999. This figure includes the mandatory Certificate of Entitlement (COE) fee of SGD 90,000, roughly equivalent to VND 3.6 billion.

What It Means for the Market

With its athletic character, compact footprint and competitive pricing, the Super‑One EV aims to attract urban dwellers who want a practical yet fun electric vehicle for daily commuting.
