Italian motorcycle legend Aprilia has unveiled the X 250TH, a ultra‑exclusive, track‑focused machine unveiled during the Formula 1 Grand Prix on March 27. Built to commemorate the United States’ 250‑year anniversary, only 30 units will ever be produced.

Racing DNA Meets Street‑Legal Luxury

The X 250TH is based on the RSV4 platform but has been re‑engineered with a full MotoGP‑style approach. Its heart is a 1,099 cc V4 engine tuned to deliver a jaw‑dropping 240 hp at 13,750 rpm and 131 Nm of torque at 11,750 rpm. The power is managed by Aprilia’s latest APX electronic suite and a high‑flow Sprint air filter, giving riders razor‑sharp throttle response.

World‑First Carbon‑Carbon Braking System

Aprilia has taken a bold step by equipping the X 250TH with a carbon‑carbon Brembo disc set – the first of its kind available to the public. The 340 mm rotors pair with carbon pads and a one‑piece aluminum caliper featuring integrated cooling fins, mirroring the brake technology used on MotoGP machines.

Aerodynamics Engineered for the Corner

The rear end showcases a pair of carbon‑fiber winglets inspired by the RS‑GP race bike. Combined with a specially designed seat‑wing, these elements generate downforce when braking, dramatically improving grip through tight turns.

Carbon‑Fiber Seat Subframe and Exhaust

Produced by PAN Compositi, the seat subframe uses a “spider‑clamp” carbon weave that balances rigidity and weight savings. Exhaust duties are handled by a twin‑pipe titanium system from SC Project, a design directly lifted from MotoGP’s podium‑winning rigs.

Carbon Winglets, Premium Wheels and Tires

Each bike features carbon‑fiber side fairings that reduce lift when the motorcycle leans, enhancing stability. The wheels are forged Marchesini mag‑forged rims wrapped in Pirelli race slicks, while the chassis employs a double‑cradle aluminium frame paired with Ohlins race‑tuned suspension.

Design Tribute to the USA

The overall colour scheme draws inspiration from the American flag, a nod to the bike’s debut celebration of the nation’s quarters‑century milestone.
