In a strategic move to align its identity with international markets, the Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company (GSM) has officially announced the rebranding of its popular service, Xanh SM, to Green SM. This transition marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey to become a global leader in sustainable transportation.

A Unified Identity for a Global Experience

The shift from Xanh SM to Green SM is more than just a name change; it is a strategic alignment designed to create a seamless and familiar experience for users traveling across different borders. By unifying its brand identity, GSM ensures that passengers encounter a consistent image and service quality, whether they are navigating the streets of Hanoi or exploring cities in other operating regions.

Next-Gen Tech: The New Green SM App

To accompany the rebranding, GSM has launched a completely revamped version of the Green SM application. This new platform is designed for global versatility, allowing users to access the service in every country where GSM currently operates. Key highlights of the updated app include:

  • AI Integration: Advanced artificial intelligence to personalize travel itineraries and enhance user experience.
  • Real-Time Data: Live updates on vehicle locations and traffic to ensure efficiency and punctuality.
  • Seamless Interface: A user-friendly design optimized for international travelers.

Leading the EV Revolution in Southeast Asia

After three years of rapid growth, GSM has established itself as the largest pure electric transport platform in Southeast Asia. The company’s footprint now extends across four key markets: Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The scale of their operations is impressive, with a fleet of over 186,000 electric cars and motorbikes currently in operation. The environmental impact of the Green SM ecosystem is equally noteworthy:

  • 620 million total trips completed.
  • 4.2 billion kilometers of green travel.
  • 580,000 tons of CO2 reduced, which is equivalent to the carbon absorption capacity of 27 million trees per year.

Localized Excellence in Vietnam

While expanding globally, Green SM continues to refine its services in its home market of Vietnam. To improve accessibility, the company has introduced a new official hotline, 1555, replacing the previous 1900 2088 number. Customers can still book rides via the app, call the hotline, or simply hail a vehicle on the street.

A Diverse Electric Fleet

The Vietnamese service leverages a diverse range of high-performance VinFast electric vehicles to cater to different needs:

  • Taxi Services: Featuring a variety of models including the Minio Green, Herio Green, VF e34 (Nerio Green), and the premium Limo Green.
  • Bike Hailing: Driven primarily by the Evo model, which has become a cornerstone of VinFast’s electric motorbike success in Vietnam.
  • Delivery Services: The EC Van, a pure electric delivery vehicle, is now fully integrated into the Green SM app for efficient logistics.

With this rebranding and technological leap, Green SM is not just moving people; it is moving the world toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable tomorrow.
