German luxury automaker Porsche unveiled the all‑electric Cayenne at the 2026 Bangkok Motor Show (BMS), marking the first time the flagship SUV is offered in the Southeast Asian market.

Three Trim Levels, Competitive Pricing

The electric Cayenne is available in three versions:

  • Cayenne Electric (base) – US$208,400
  • Cayenne S Electric – US$223,900
  • Cayenne Turbo Electric – US$296,700

All three models share a 113 kWh battery pack, but their driving ranges differ slightly thanks to power‑train tuning:

  • Turbo – up to 623 km (WLTP)
  • S – up to 642 km (WLTP)
  • Base – up to 653 km (WLTP)

Performance – Power Meets Precision

The Turbo version boasts dual electric motors delivering 857 hp (1,156 hp with Launch Control) and 1,500 Nm of torque. It rockets from 0‑100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, 0‑200 km/h in 7.4 seconds, and tops out at 260 km/h.

The S model produces 544 hp (666 hp with Launch Control), 0‑100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.

The standard model offers 408 hp (442 hp with Launch Control), 0‑100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 230 km/h. All trims feature permanent all‑wheel drive.

Fast Charging and Energy Recovery

Thanks to an 800 V electrical architecture, the Cayenne Electric supports up to 400 kW DC fast charging – reaching 80 % charge in just 16 minutes. A 10‑minute charge provides roughly 315 km of driving range.

It also introduces Porsche’s first 11 kW on‑board AC charger and a regenerative braking system capable of recovering up to 600 kW, with 97 % of braking performed by the electric motors.

Chassis, Suspension and Brakes

All trims use Porsche’s standard air‑suspension setup. The Turbo adds a PTV anti‑roll bar, ceramic brake discs, an optional rear steering system (up to 5° of toe‑out), and active suspension for enhanced agility.

Luxury Interior and Technology

The cabin combines high‑end materials with cutting‑edge digital displays:

  • 14.25‑inch OLED driver information screen
  • Curved OLED Flow Display integrated into the central console
  • Optional 14.9‑inch rear‑seat entertainment screen
  • Electrically adjustable rear seats

Buyers can choose from 13 standard exterior paint colors, nine wheel designs, and twelve interior trim options, ensuring a highly personalized experience.

Event Details

The international showcase ran in Thailand from 25 March to 5 April 2026, attracting global media and automotive enthusiasts.

With its blend of Porsche heritage, electric performance, and luxury refinement, the Cayenne Electric sets a new benchmark for premium SUVs in the region.
